About the Marketplace

Sport-SOS is a fast growing cause-related marketplace on the internet.

Dedicated to awareness and education, Sport-SOS will ensure you the exposure and increased recognition of your name, brand, products and services. It offers a multitude of possibilities for new and existing business partners.

Only a limited number of qualified companies can join. Participation affords our partners exposure to a fast growing, vast but tightly targeted youth market segment in North America and abroad.

Q & A

How come Sport-SOS partnership marketing programs are so affordable? Most traditional ads and sponsorships cost tens or maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars...

A. First of all, we are a volunteer based organization. We use word-of-mouth recommendations. We do NOT pay professional salespeople to acquire the businesses. Also, Sport-SOS marketplace was created to appeal even to small business owners who otherwise could not afford to participate.

Q. Why I have to join a SportSOS awareness platform to qualify?

A. Several Reasons . . .

1. SportSOS marketplace is a cause-related partnership marketing program.

2. Our mission is to increase awareness and help raise funds for youth sports-related causes.

3. We can keep the marketing cost down because we don't pay professional salespeople.

4. Businesses are more apt to participate when approached by a local non-profit group than when approached by a fundraising sales pro. Also most volunteers' kids play sports, they have direct contacts with their employer or they are business owners who are likely to participate by supporting their own kids’, niece's, nephew's, grandkid's... sports organization.

Q. How hard is it to get businesses to participate?

A. Not hard at all. Cause-related partner programs are very effective marketing & PR tools. Participation is made affordable by pooling many partner resources. Just ask them! Almost all businesses want to support SportSOS sponsored awareness fundraisers - in return for very low cost advertising.

TIP:

Ask your membership if they have business contacts in your local community. Ask private business owners if they would like to promote their goods and services - invite them to join your awareness fundraiser that will help your non-profit organization.
