In response to exploding demand for donations, Sport-SOS has developed a unique Charitable Giving Program. This new program provides an individual or corporate donor a personal, an efficient way to make a donation and to choose the recipient. It connects youth sports community, philanthropists, donors, preferred charitable-gift fund, financial and legal organizations. It is a win-win situation to all partners alike.
A Charitable Giving Program involves a public charity, a Gift Trust that receives donations, makes gifts and grants to qualified non-profit organizations. Our charitable giving partners provide FREE advise to Organizations, Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Estates and other entities on how to establish a Gift Trust and direct contributions to local, state, national and global non-profit organizations.
The Charitable Giving Program provides essentially all of the flexibility and benefits of a private foundation, while avoiding the start-up costs and complexities of establishing other charitable vehicles such as private foundations and trusts. It offers superior tax benefits, costs nothing to establish and no out-of-pocket expenses are required for account maintenance. In addition, there are no legal or transaction fees. Paperwork is minimal since the trustee handles all of the record-keeping and sends contribution confirmations that include a calculation of the associated federal income tax deduction.
The Charitable Giving Program is very flexible, IRS-qualified, tax efficient product designed for persons and businesses subject to high rates of Federal income and other taxes. Donors can make irrevocable contributions of cash or securities to the Gift Trust. The donor receives an immediate tax deduction up to the maximum allowed by law for contributions.
Donors realize financial growth potential of their gift by investing in one of the trust funds managed by the professionals. Gifts are invested in a diversified investment portfolio comprised of four investment pools of established mutual funds registered with the Securities Exchange Commission. The donor recommends grants to their preferred qualified organizations on their own timetable.
This new Charitable Giving Program is now available in all major markets including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis/ St. Paul, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Washington, DC.
